Back in 2007, RIM Thought Apple Was Lying About the Whole iPhone Thing
In his analysis of Electronista’s story, Paul Kedrosky hits the nail on the head:
Here are executives being surprised by the state of the art in their own area of competence, and not just surprised, but caught completely flat-footed.
How does such a successful company, with an incredible amount of market share, fail to innovate in their R&D? Now RIM is left sitting idly, while the iPhone and Android gobble up the smartphone market.
I hope MG takes a stab at this one.
